[2010] IBM Research Faculty Fellow awarded by IBM Canada in recognition to the research on consistency management which is relevant and critical to their research priorities.
[2007] Recognized as the 10th Best Scholar in Software Engineering by Ren, J. and Taylor, R. N. in "Automatic and Versatile Publications Ranking For Research Institutions And Scholars," Communications of the ACM, June 2007, Vol. 50, No. 6.
[2007] Recognition of Service Award from the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) for Chairing the Program Committee of the 22nd IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE), Atlanta, GA, USA
[2002] Bold Stroke Avionics Software Family (led by Boeing Comp.) was inducted in the SPLC 2002 Hall of Fame for Successful Product Lines. While at Teknowledge, I worked on its model-based integration (MoBIES I and II grants).
[2001] Paper on "A Scenario-Driven Approach to Traceability" was selected as one of the ‘best of’ papers of the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) and was subsequently published in the IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering.
[2001] Paper on "Software Model Connectors: Bridging Models across the Software Lifecycle" was selected as one of the ‘best of’ papers of the International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE) to be published in the Journal of Systems and Software.
[1999] Outstanding Achievement Award from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.
[1998] INCOSE Student Paper Award received during the 8th International Conference of Systems Engineering, Vancouver, Canada.
[1994] "Mit Erfolg" (German: success) Award from the Johannes Kepler University, Austria.
